Operating Model

Post by RegNatarajan »

Hello,

I have a need to develop somthing in C and I found Codelite to do my editing in. Looks great.

I'm curious, though, how does this software exist? I can't find any requests for donations anywhere. There is no advertising anywhere that I can see, and no "bundled downloads of interest". If there's any money generated anywhere, I can't see it. Is it just a hobby by Eran?

Regards,
Reg

Hi Reg,

Since the donations button did not really work, I changed the model a bit.
Instead, if you click the "Download" button from codelite's home page you will be redirective to the new Download flow, which starts Here
On this page you can choose whether you wish to support codelite by making a small donation

Regardless of the above, yes, its a hobby for me (which consumes time and money ;))

Ah, now I see it. I must have downloaded it from a different path as I didn't see that originally.

I just made a small donation. Happy to support this effort, and I respect your decision not to bundle crapware to raise money which is becoming a common model. I hate that.
