CHMLib- Anyone knowldgeable?

I have wanted for so long to work on CL help plugin. I know I Can launch help using external tools but I want to make it as a Tab not separate window. I have searched a lot but I cannot find something big. Now I have found Chmlib and I wanted to start with that. Contacting busy Andrea, gave me some insight but I need more help on how to extract and make links to different pages.
Anyone interested in that kind of project?
