64-bit ubuntu 12.04 LTS, when I add some functions or classes and saved(ctrl+s) that SymbolView panel always not update.

I had tested 3.5X version in windows and ubuntu, same problem.
only 2.8.XXX version works fine. today I check out the newest(v4.0.5521) source code from svn and installed, but SymbolView panel still can't update new symbols, is a bug ?

Yes.
Please open a bug at sourceforge

As a workaround, use Ctrl-Shift-O to open the same view in a modal dialog (IMO, much more convenient)
