I am not sure why it does not work for you.

I can suggest the following:
- Re-install codelite. Purge everything before:

sudo apt-get purge codelite wxcrafter

- Try and install the standalone version of wxCrafter from here: http://downloads.codelite.org/wxCrafter/ and see if it works for you

that one (stand alone) works fine but license does not work.
Any more idea (plus license issue)?

The license should work. I just re-checked it.
Make sure you copied it properly without any whitespaces etc

Try also to delete your ~/.codeilte folder and see if it changes anything

The License issue was resolved but removing my settings dir did not help.
I can confirm now it have to do with my installed files as standalone works fine.
I will reinstall again and see what happens!
