Re: [BETA] wxCrafter BETA
Sure - added
Note that a final release (and open to the public will be released in 2 weeks)
It contains many many changes (based on input from the beta users)
BTW: Which OS do you use?

Re: [BETA] wxCrafter BETA
Hi Eran,
I'm using Win7 at my office, and Lubuntu 12-04 (64 bits) at home.
If you don't mind, I wish I could have wxCrafter plugin for both...
Whatever, thank you for all the good job you did (till now )
I'm using codelite from a long time now and it still looks like to me the best IDE !.
Maby thanks,
Cheers

Re: [BETA] wxCrafter BETA
BTW: Special congratulations for seeing wxCrafter gone gold.
I played with the one bundled with CL5 - very nice, really.
Just one tiny thing: If you install CL w/o admin rights it complains at the end it cannot write registry entries, but IT WORKS! But then, the wxCrafter install fails because it cannot locate CL. And you have no chance to point to the install dir. Thats a bit annoying. Because if you don't have admin rights you have no chance to get wxCrafter. I had to uninstall/re-sinstall as admin, then it worked.
You might want to tweak the installers a little bit or consider to provide wxCrafter as archive, too for non-admin installs.
What about pricing, btw? I understand you cannot purchase it for the moment, but do you have an idea of how much you will charge? And what type of license: Life-time or yearly or per version?

It will be around 39 US$SlimFast wrote: but do you have an idea of how much you will charge
It will be tied to wxCrafter's major versions.SlimFast wrote: And what type of license: Life-time or yearly or per version?
I was afraid of that, I will fix this - thanks for reporting this. I will re-enable the directory selection page again with proper text messageSlimFast wrote:Just one tiny thing: If you install CL w/o admin rights it complains at the end it cannot write registry entries, but IT WORKS! Re: [BETA] wxCrafter BETA
Well that sounds fair and reasonable. Compared to VS and DialogBlocks its even cheap, but you get a full-featured cross-platform IDE. If you have too much spare time ( ) an importer for DialogBlocks projects would be really cool.eranif wrote: It will be around 39 US$
