regressions in 13.0.0

Post by zaphod »

Dear Eran,
I'm using 13.0.0 on a couple of workstations but I find there are a couple of regressions. I am using Linux Mint 19.1 with Mate.
  • The "Find In Files" dialog box seems to have lost the "Clear Path" button.
  • The "Stop Running Program" doesn't work. I'm using the Mate terminal, if that is a factor.
Lastly, not a regression, but I'd like the debug toolbar to be persistent. The fact that it comes and goes and 'jolts' the editor pane bothers me.

"Find In Files" lost the clear path:
As part of the changes done to the find in files dialog, the "Search in" field is now a editable (it can accept, in additions to folders, exclude patterns).
You can simply remove anything u want from the "Search in" by erasing it

"Stop running program" - this seems to work for me, so I am not really sure why it is broken for you. Have you tried, like you suggested, trying a different terminal?

I am not sure what "jolts" means in the debugger toolbar, but I could make it floating if this is prefereable
Make sure you have read the HOW TO POST thread
