How to update CL in UBUNTU 9.10?
Hi all.
I had old release CL, it worked OK, but today I decided to update CL
I downloaded CodeLite 2.3.0.3833 (codelite_2.3.0.3833-ubuntu0_i386.deb) and went all steps in instruction (http://codelite.org/LiteEditor/Download) but now when I launch CodeLite I see the splash-screen only, CodeLite doesn't work.
I uninstalled CL at all, and install CL 2.3.0.3833 once more, but CL again shows the splash-screen only, and further happens nothing.
What do I do wrong?
I have O.S. Ubuntu 9.10
Tanks in advance.

Remove your ~/.codelite/ directory and see if it helps.

Re: How to update CL in UBUNTU 9.10?
I mean: when you type 'codelite' from command line, when codelite terminates, does it says something? like "Aborted" or any other error?
or maybe it keep hanging ?
EDIT: When you say "CB" do u mean codelite?
Which version of wxWidgets do you have?

Re: How to update CL in UBUNTU 9.10?
Did you compile your wxWidgets yourself?
If you use the wxWidgets that comes with Ubuntu 9.10 your codelite should be OK.
But I suspect that you have an older version of wxWidgets.
Try getting a newer version of wxWidgets or get the ones from wxWidgets site directly.
What is the output of
